New for Winter 2006 - 2007: Weather
permitting we now have our own outdoor
skating rink. You may also cross-country ski or snowshoe on our 40 acres of
fields and wooded area. You will need your own equipment and will have to
break your own trails.
New for Late Spring 2006: 40 acres
for nature walks.
Walk through the fields and down to the undisturbed shores at
the south end of Lake Eugenia . There you may see deer, beaver, herons,
loons and many other types of wildlife. In the winter you will be able to
cross country ski or snow shoe right on the resort.
You don't have to go
anywhere to enjoy the
amenities we have to offer at Cedars. Children love to swim and play on our
shallow, sandy beach. Let the games begin, the whole family will enjoy
our outdoor heated swimming pool. It's a great place to meet
your neighbours. The pool is open from mid June to just after Labour Day
weekend.
 There are pedal boats for the kids and canoes for those who
enjoy a quiet few hours on the water and there's no
charge to guests! Lake Eugenia is well known for fishing, especially if
you enjoy bass, perch or trout. Motor boats are available for daily
or weekly rental from McInnes Marine right next door. If you don't fish, you may just want to take a little
cruise around the lake. Life jackets and safety equipment are all included.
 Small children love a
playground, and so do their parents! Cedars playground comes
well equipped with safe things to climb on, slides, fireman's
pole, sand box and swings.
 We haven't forgotten the adults! Our games room is
always available to guests. Enjoy our billiards table, table tennis,
shuffleboard and card table. A great place for a little fun any time of the
day!
