FAQs

1. Do I need to bring linens? All of the bedding is supplied, however you do need to bring your own bath towels and beach towels. You also need to bring basic housekeeping supplies, such as dish soap, dish towels, paper towels, garbage bags and toilet paper.
2. Is the kitchen fully equipped? There is a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The dishes, cutlery and basic pots and pans are supplied as well. You may want to bring a roasting pan and large serving platter if you plan to cook a large roast or turkey.
3. Do you supply baby equipment? We can supply high chairs, booster seats, porta-beds, baby wash tub, strollers and safety gates upon request. Please let us know which items you require when making your reservation.
4. Can I play my radio? Sorry, we are a family oriented cottage resort. We do not allow music to be played outside so as not to disturb other guests or our neighbours.
5. Are pets allowed? Sorry, we do not accept pets.
6. Is there a fireplace? Yes, all of our cottages and chalets have fireplaces. Firewood is supplied free of charge from Thanksgiving to the May long weekend. At other times of the year firewood may be purchased in the office.
7. How far are you from skiing? We are a 10 minute drive from Talisman Mountain Resort or a 25 minute drive from Blue Mountain Ski Resort.
8. Is the water safe to drink? There is no need to bring bottled water. Our water is treated on site and tested monthly by an Ontario Ministry of Health accredited laboratory.
9. What is your cancellation policy? Our cancellation policy is: For cancellations more than 30 days before your arrival date your deposit is refundable less $50.00 per unit. For cancellations 30 days or less before your arrival date your deposit is non refundable.
