Common Questions People Have

Do I need to bring linens?
All of the bedding is supplied, however you do need to bring your own bath towels and beach towels.

Is the kitchen fully equipped?
There is a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The dishes, cutlery and basic pots and pans are supplied as well. You may want to bring a roasting pan and large serving platter if you plan to cook a large roast or turkey.Each Cottage has it's own Gas BBQ also!

Do you supply baby equipment?
We can supply high chairs, booster seats, strollers and safety gates upon request. Please let us know which items you require when making your reservation.

Can we have guests??
Yes you may have guests. All guests must check in with the office. Guest vehicles must be parked in the overflow lot and have a parking permit displayed. There is a day use pass for guests available at 10.00/day (children under 12 are free).We must limit the number of guest passes to 4 per cottage.

Can my guests stay overnight?
Your guests may stay overnight if they are registered. The maximum occupancy of each cottage (4 guests) and Chalet (8 Guests) must be adhered to as these are fire regulations. Any guests not registered will be required to leave the resort.

Can I play my radio?
We are a family oriented cottage resort. Music to be played outside must not disturb other guests or our neighbors. If we can hear it at the cottage next to you, it will have to be turned off.

Are pets allowed?
We have 2 cottages (Cottage 7 & 8) that allows pets from November 1st to April 30th ONLY. We have strict rules about pets, so please make sure you contact us prior to booking, We allow 1 pet per cottage and additional charges apply. Pets must be on a leash anywhere on resort property and are not permitted in other cottages or the games room.

Is there a fireplace?
Yes, all of our cottages and chalets have fireplaces and firepits. Firewood may be purchased in the office.

Is there a Fire Pit?
Each cottage and Chalet has its own fire pit.Fires must be contained and kept to a reasonable size. Grey county does not allow firewood to be brought in from outside the county. This is to prevent the spread of diseases such as Dutch Elm Disease. We sell firewood here at the resort or you can purchase it locally.

Do you rent Boats?
We supply Canoes and Paddle Boats at no charge for our Guests, We do have motor boats available to rent for 85.00 per day.

Can I bring my own Boat?
Yes! We have a small boat launch. There is no charge for 1 launch and 1 removal, more than this is charged at 10.00/use. We also have docking available. Docking is available here at the resort at a cost of 10.00/day or 50.00/week, we reccomend you reserve a dock early, as we have limited availability.

Is the water safe to drink?
There is no need to bring bottled water. Our water is treated on site and tested monthly by an Ontario Ministry of Health accredited laboratory.

What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is: For cancellations more than 60 days before your arrival date your deposit is refundable less $50.00 per unit. For cancellations 60 days or less before your arrival date your deposit is non refundable.
