All of the bedding is supplied, however you do need to bring your own bath towels and beach towels.
There is a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. The dishes, cutlery, and basic pots and pans are supplied as well. You may want to bring a roasting pan and large serving platter if you plan to cook a large roast or turkey. Each Cottage has it’s own Gas BBQ also!
Top of the Rock is located in Eugenia, about a 5 minute drive from resort. Top O’ The Rock is an award winning “one-stop” shopping experience. They offer customers virtually everything they need — a vast selection of grocery products, healthy “to-go” meals and an LCBO/Beer store partnership. The next closest grocery store will be Foodland in Markdale (20 minutes from resort).
No pets allowed. We are a pet free Resort.
Each cottage and Chalet has its own fire pit and indoor woodburning fireplace with the exception of Cottage 1 which has an indoor electric fireplace.
Fires must be contained and kept to a reasonable size. Grey county does not allow firewood to be brought in from outside the county. This is to prevent the spread of diseases such as Dutch Elm Disease.
We sell firewood at the resort for $15 per bag with kindling and paper as starter.
Lake Eugenia is a man-made lake owned by Ontario Power Generation company. The lake is dammed as a part of a hydro electric power generation project. As cool as this is, it also means the lake is relatively shallow, the average depth of the lake is 5″ with only a small portion of the lake near the dam reaching a depth of 30″. This also means the lake is drained for the winter season- around thanksgiving weekend the water drops dramatically and the lake isn’t guaranteed to be refilled until May 24 weekend. As a man-made lake this also means there are stumps and deadheads throughout the lake which can create a navigational hazard in some parts of the lake with motorized boats. If you plan to bring your boat please check in with a staff member for directions on where the best boating on the lake is.
Yes! We have a small boat launch. Where we are located on the lake stumps make it hard to boat therefore you must go under a bridge to enter the large part of the lake. There is 42″clearance from water level to the bridge, please check your freeboard to the top of your windshield. We also have docking available. Docking is available here at the resort at a cost of 20.00/day or 90.00/week, we recommend you reserve a dock early, as we have limited availability.
We supply Canoes and Pedal Boats at no charge for our Guests, Unfortunately we don’t have any motorized boats for rent.
We can supply high chairs and safety gates upon request. Please let us know which items you require when making your reservation.
Due to Covid 19 we are currently limiting the amount of outside guests. Please let us know if you wish to have any day visitors.
Your guests may stay overnight if they are registered. The maximum occupancy of each cottage (4-6 guests) and Chalet (8 Guests) must be adhered to as these are fire regulations. Any guests not registered will be required to leave the resort. Additional charges will apply. Tents are not permitted anywhere on the property

We are a family oriented cottage resort. Music to be played outside must not disturb other guests or our neighbors. If we can hear it at the cottage next to you, it will have to be turned off.
